The SuperTIG 200EX brings EX-series controls to a 230 V machine. Square-wave AC, AC balance, AC frequency, pulse, slopes and gas timers are all set from the front panel. The machine is ready for a foot pedal and a water-cooled torch.

Overview

Because it runs on single-phase 230 V it goes wherever three-phase power is not available. It weighs about 25 kg and the enclosure is IP21.

Pulse reduces heat input on thin sheet. A low pulse rate helps pace the filler rod; a higher one narrows the arc on thin aluminium.
